Quality of riparian habitat and its influence on water quality in some ecosystems of waterfalls and springs in Bawean Island

Abstract This study aims to evaluate the quality of riparian habitats based on index (QBR), tree vegetation (community structure and Naturalness index), anthropogenic activity (Hemeroby Index) their relationship water in some waterfall spring ecosystems Bawean Island. Ex Post Facto was conducted six (Candi, Putri, Suwari, Talomon, Laccar Kuduk Kuduk) two (Kuduk Laccar). Analysis at each location observed from three plots with size 50 x m 2 . The physics chemical included pH, dissolved oxygen/DO, total suspended solid/TSS, Kjeldahl nitrogen/TKN, biochemical oxygen demand/BOD. results showed that habitat affected quality.
